The Vision Center project was the brainchild of Dr. M. Nivean, Academic Director of M.N. Eye Hospitals, who aims to reach the unreached by bringing quality and affordable Eye care to ALL.

He wanted to bridge the gap in the rural areas where all should be able to get Comprehensive Eye Care and to detect early preventable blindness like Refractory error , Cataract , Diabetic Retinopathy , Glaucoma and create an awareness in the community and provide the diagnosis through teleconsultation and bring them to the base hospital for the further treatment .

In collaboration with the Rotary Club (Dist 3232) , their MISSION and his VISION came together and made the DREAM a REALITY . It was an ambitious  goal to have 24 vision centers in operation by 2023,in Chennai, Kancheepuram and Thiruvallur district. We provide services with 50% of charity, 30 % subsidy and 20 % payment
